Algerian Envoy underscores need for people to people exchange program with Korea
Algerian Ambassador to Korea Hocine Sahraoui underscored the need for culture and people to people exchange program between Korea and Algeria for better understanding of each other. He made the remarks when he met with Shin Heon-cheol, president of the Korea-Algeria Friendship Association on June 17 at the latter’s office to exchange views on how to work together to promote friendship between Korea and Algeria in the private sector. Also joined the meeting was Mr. Joseph H. Cho,PhD.,P.E, Vice President of SK E&C, an affiliate of the SK Group of Companies. KAFA is a non-profit organization that was officially launched on June 30. 1999 with the purpose of promoting relations between the two sides to a great extent in exchanges in the fields of culture, art, education and media as well as to explore joint business and investment opportunities in South Korea and Algeria
